Meticulously designed for enhanced portability and security, the diskAshur PRO3 includes all the essential features of other iStorage products, such as PIN protection and hardware encryption, along with a host of innovative technological enhancements.
Using the device is effortlessly simple: simply plug it into the host’s USB port (USB Type-A and Type-C cables included) and enter the user-configured 8-64 digit PIN. Upon entering the correct PIN, all data on the drive will be decrypted and accessible. To lock the drive, simply remove it from the host and all data will be encrypted.
Available in capacities up to 16TB, the TAA-compliant drive redefines the standard for securing data with ease and confidence.

Enhanced Encryption and Physical Security The diskAshur PRO3 provides real-time Full Disk data protection by implementing a military-grade FIPS PUB 197 validated AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption algorithm. This comprehensive approach provides strong protection against unauthorized access.
The diskAshur PRO3 is designed to provide tamper-resistant security. Access to the components requires physically breaking the casing, which is a clear indication of tampering attempts. Additionally, all internal components are protected with a layer of durable epoxy resin, which enhances protection against physical attacks.
Advanced firmware protection
The firmware of the iStorage diskAshur PRO3 is FIPS 140-3 Level 3 compliant. In addition, the drive features a secure microprocessor certified according to Common Criteria EAL5+, together with a unique flash lock mechanism, which provides protection against possible firmware attacks on the microprocessor.
It also provides robust protection against BadUSB attacks via an innovative secure USB controller firmware protection mechanism. This ensures the authentication of the USB controller firmware prior to any unlock attempt, further strengthening the security measures.

Brute force hack defense mechanism
diskAshur PRO3 protects against brute force attacks. If the user PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row, it will be deleted. Data will remain on the device but can only be accessed with the administrator PIN. If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row, all data will be lost forever. The device will need to be reconfigured before it can be used again.
Admin, User, and Recovery PINs have separate brute force counters.
Independent User, Admin and One Time Recovery PINs
The diskAshur PRO3 can be configured with three independent PINs: User, Admin and One-Time Restore, ensuring flexibility without compromising security.
No preset PIN
diskAshur PRO3 is not shipped with a pre-set Administrator PIN. An 8-64 digit Administrator PIN must be set before the drive can be used.
Self-destruct PIN
Once entered, the encrypted encryption key and all PINs will be deleted and all data will be lost forever.
Illuminated keyboard
Can be turned on or off, making keys visible in low light.
Wear-resistant epoxy-coated keyboard
Hides key usage to prevent a potential hacker from getting hints about commonly used keys.
