datAshur SD

The datAshur SD is a hardware encrypted USB stick with pin that uses removable microSD cards. This means that users store their data on the microSD card itself, but can only do so via a corresponding, secured USB stick. The USB stick itself can only be unlocked with the correct pin code. This makes it impossible to view or edit the data in any other way. An extremely secure way of managing data as you can imagine!

The difference with previous iStorage USB sticks is the addition of the microSD cards. This has the great advantage that you only have to remember one pin code, but in fact have multiple storage sources at your disposal. After all: each microSD card is a source in itself. You can switch from card to card in no time. Moreover, very handy for heavy users who need more than 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage space!

Working in a team

Extremely safe, this datAshur SD. But those who work in a team may find it less useful if the data is only visible to that one colleague. Fortunately, iStorage has thought of that too, and therefore also releases a datAshur SD KeyWriter software.

The datAshur KeyWriter software clones datAshur microSD cards with the same encryption key, allowing a second card to be set up as a backup. It also allows companies to share the contents of secured microSD cards with as many users as are authorized. An admin can set this up for all colleagues who need it, without having to compromise on security. It is also a handy fallback that the admin can reset the user's PIN code, in case of emergency.
