Here are the differences with datAshur PRO:
- Capacities up to 512 GB
- Includes Common Criteria EAL 5+ Ready Secure Microcontroller (same as diskAshur2 series) - can achieve all government certifications (FIPS 140-2 IL3, NCSC CPA, NLNCSA BSPA, Common Criteria, NATO, etc.).
- The administrator can set a restriction policy for the user PIN code. This policy includes setting the minimum length of the PIN code (from 7 to 15 digits) and whether or not to enter a 'special character'. The 'special character' functions as 'SHIFT + number'.
- One-time User PIN Recovery - User recovery PIN is useful in situations where a user forgot their PIN to unlock the datAshur PRO2, after entering the one-time user PIN, the user can create a new user PIN
- The brute force restriction for datAshur PRO2 can be reprogrammed by the administrator. This feature can be set to allow 2 to 19 consecutive incorrect PIN entries instead of the default 20.
- iStorage datAshur PRO2 USB drives are equipped with a bootable feature for power cycling during a host boot process. When booting from the datAshur PRO2, your computer will run the operating system installed on the datAshur PRO2.
- iStorage datAshur PRO2 USB drives can be numbered as “Removable Disk” or “Local Disk” depending on user requirements.
- Using a durable hard anodized coating and die casting zamak alloy for the ultimate in quality, durability and style.
